The Mature Mouse™ is a Star Wars fan. I am very excited about Disney’s construction of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney announced the addition of a new resort, connected to Galaxy’s Edge, that will immerse guests in the Star Wars universe by allowing them to engage in a type of role-playing vacation.

From the Disney Parks Blog: This first-of-its-kind resort will combine luxury with a complete immersion into an authentic Star Wars story. Guests’ journey through space will start when everyone departs together for a multiday Stars Wars adventure by boarding a starship alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during a voyage through the galaxy.

Disney has also described the level immersion guests will experience while visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This new land is not a planet or area seen in any of the previous movies. And, The Mature Mouse™ believes that we will not see this specific world in any of the films yet to be released. Disney is creating a unique part of the authentic to the Star Wars universe. This will create a longevity to the experience beyond each new film.

Walt Disney World guests will also have the opportunity to stay at a luxury resort that will immerse guests in a personal Star Wars adventure.

D23 Expo is this weekend, and we Disney fans are eagerly awaiting information about all things Disney.
